Our mission is to help other mums set aside the time to focus on their own health and fitness needs for a change. Being a mum can sometimes feel exhausting and isolating. We know that exercise will benefit both our physical and mental health but finding the time and energy to do so can be challenging. Exercise can benefit us mums in so many ways; It makes us physically stronger, healthier, more confident, gives some clarity to our sleep deprived brains, makes us more able to keep up with the kids, shows our little ones that exercise is a fun and normal part of life and generally makes day to day mommying so much easier.
Whether it’s been 6 weeks or 6 years, no matter how long ago you had children we help mums safely return to exercise and restrengthen their body so that they can start to feel more like themselves again. Strong Mums isn’t about “bouncing back” after having a baby or getting your pre-baby body back… That’s nonsense. It’s about feeling fit, healthy and strong enough to do what you do best; taking care of your little tribe.
When you join Strong Mums you get so much more than just a fitness group; you become part of a supportive and motivating community of other mums, all in a similar boat to yourself. As part of all membership packages you have access to monthly workshops and presentations from a range of local services and professionals who are passionate about women’s health and wellness.
The Strong Mums community meet up socially on a regular basis, sometimes with children in tow and sometimes without… because non-mommy time is precious and very much needed!”
