What does Coast Home Loans do?

In short, we help work out which is the best home loan for you, because there are hundreds to choose from. Instead of you going to each bank and trying to work out whether they would lend you the money you need, we do the leg work for you and advise you on which bank and which home loan product is best for you.

Every bank has it’s quirks, and our job is to know which bank is best for each individual. For example, if you’re wanting to bid at a house at auction this weekend, some banks are super quick and do same day approvals, so that might be the right bank for you. Some as a rule don’t lend to self employed applicants, so if that’s you, we’d instead recommend the banks which we know are the ones who maximise not minimise the borrowing capacity of self employed applicants.

Once we’ve helped you understand your financial position, such as how much you need to borrow, and how much you’ll be able to borrow, we’re then the ones who take care of that whole home loan application process for you. We’ll be the one to submit the home loan applications on your behalf, advocate on your behalf to the bank, and then work to make the settlement of your home and loan as smooth as possible. We spend our days on hold to the bank so you don’t have to.

We pride ourselves on more often than not securing discounted home loan rates for our customers (much less than the ones the banks advertise). Choosing the right home loan product can save you hundreds of thousands of dollars over the life of your loan. We also know which banks are offering great cashback offers for anyone refinancing. (Refinancing means taking your current home loan to a different bank)
