We’ve had nothing but a good experience at BVPS. My bright (but tendency to be lazy) boy has been challenged in the right ways and his teachers are excellent.
My children have been attending Berkeley Vale PS for just over a year. So far I have been really happy with the individual teachers they have had. The majority of the staff that I have interacted with seem very caring and genuinely enjoy working at the school. They have some great events that the teachers participate in too and the school performances were wonderful, so much effort went into them by staff and students.
The grounds are great, with lots of different areas for the kids to play and the classrooms appear well equipped. They have a great canteen and a wonderful onsite OOSH.
If I had to give constructive feedback it would be:
-a more play based learning approach in Kindergarten
-an improvement in communication. Not every parent/carer is on Facebook and so occasionally information can be missed.
Teachers are nice and love to help. Has been great for my girls who have special needs to adapt things to help their learning.
